Friday - 10 Aug

Ms. Tan started to give whole set of brief for the whole semester.
Total got 4 projects:
1. Typography
2. Branding
3. Major project --> critical report / dissertation
4. Competition

Typography's deadline is next week, my progress.. hm.. i ll post the real outcome when it's confirmed and done, kay! Still sick of the report of this typeface (haven't completed yet).

Branding is the 2nd tough one besides the major project. I need to revamp these corporate identity, brand identity and brand image of a company. The worst is to write in Graphic Standards Manual -way!!!! I don't even know what it is, the whole class know about it except the stupid me. Aiya.. they all got experience lar... even my buddy knows about it. And one of my classmate(10 years working experience cool guy in interactive media) even pointed out this to ms. Tan: "it's not possible to write it in 4 weeks." Then ms. Tan thought awhile and said "Aiya... can larh....".

Major project - think i am going to choose to do critical report. It's lesser words compared to dissertation. I feel like i am cursed by all those books because i don't appreciate them, never!! haha.. oh i am haunted! Worst about this is i need to state inside the contract of the topic i am going to choose during this one year, by next week!!! In a week's time to think, and i am scared to choose the incorrect one.

Competition - each individual suppose to join and pick a current graphic design competition.

And Ms. Tan stated this firmly: "This semester you are all going to die.. REally. But after the trip from UK, everyone of you will feel refresh again."

Oh how i wish, really wish the time is going to fly damnnnnn FAst!

Before my Friday ended, i knew it was time to look for Russell for the submission of L'oreal competition. Well, i didn't complete my work, didn't do a write-up (well, i never really did a write-up before during the past 3 years, and they were all from friend's help). So, what did i submit? And how was i going to submit them? No preparation and nothing was done during holiday of NDP. So lucky that my buddy was so good to help me in the write-up and helped me to buy stuffs from art-friend while i printed my designs. I really need to thank God for he's been nice to have me surrounded by good people, my good friends. I feel so blessed because i have them.
